Know what to investigate next
You do not need to understand every insurance rule.
You just need to know which decisions deserve your attention.
- What franchise actually makes sense for my situation?
- Will Telmed, HMO or Hausarzt fit how I actually use healthcare?
- What am I paying supplementary insurance for?
- If I want to change something, what do I actually need to do?
Why I built this
When I moved to Switzerland as an expat, I knew health insurance was compulsory. What I didn't understand was what I was actually choosing.
Franchise, Telmed, HMO, supplementary insurance. Every option seemed to come with its own rules. Broker calls and pages of information did not necessarily make those decisions clearer.
Over the years I have navigated the system myself and as a family. When I do not understand something, I research it until I do, using official sources wherever I can.
This is the resource I wish had existed when I arrived.
“I'm not an insurance broker or adviser. I share personal experience, careful research and practical educational information.”
